Terms & Conditions — Registration under 18
1. Who may use this registration
This form is only for individuals who are under 18 years of age at the time of registration. If you are 18 or older, you must use the standard adult registration process.
2. Parent or legal guardian
Youth accounts are created under the authority of a parent or legal guardian whose MHS Gold account is linked during registration (including verification of their identity details and security credentials as prompted on the form).
The linked parent or guardian is responsible for:
- Supervising the minor’s use of the platform and any trading or account activity;
- Ensuring that information submitted (including NRIC, PIN entry, and SMS verification) is accurate and authorised;
- Compliance with applicable laws, tax rules, and our general membership terms where they apply to the minor’s account.
3. Account linking and verification
Registration may require the parent’s NRIC (or equivalent national ID on file), a security PIN associated with the parent’s account, and a one-time code sent by SMS to the parent’s registered mobile number. By completing these steps, the parent or guardian confirms they approve creation of the youth account and accept these youth-specific terms in addition to any other applicable MHS Gold policies.
4. Youth account features
Features available to youth accounts (including buying, selling, or holding digital gold) may depend on product rules, verification status, and risk controls. Some requirements that apply to adult accounts may be satisfied at account level through the linked guardian where our systems and policies allow.
5. Data and communications
We process personal data submitted during registration and verification to operate the service, comply with the law, and protect members and the platform. SMS and related messages are used for security and verification as described in the registration flow.
6. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page will be revised when material changes are made. Continued use of a youth account after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms by the account holder and, where applicable, the linked guardian.
